Should I keep my spirituality a secret?
Early on, when I was first exposed to all things Spiritual, I was frustrated and confused. I wanted to understand what was happening, and I couldn’t. I eventually learned that I don’t need to understand; I just need to experience whatever comes my way and to accept it to be true. My surrender allowed me to delve deeper into the Spiritual Realms. This was a significant and positive shift.
But the downside was that I stopped sharing. I couldn’t understand it, I couldn’t explain it, I couldn’t express what I was experiencing so I made a conscious decision to keep everything to myself. This was the beginning of my BIG SECRET. This shift in thinking is what eventually caused me such pain and isolation.
Today it is one of my key teachings – don’t hide yourself away, share if you can with like-minded people. That may be just one other person in your life, or a small group of girlfriends.
When a group gathers with focused intention, this intention is magnified exponentially more powerfully propelling the will of that intent into the world. Group gatherings give you the opportunity to talk to like-minded women, share your experiences, feel supported by others, and offer listening or encouragement in return.
No matter what form your sharing takes, a spiritual journey is not meant to be lonely. This adventure is meant to be joyful and exciting, and sometimes even funny. But most of all it is about unconditional love. And love is always meant to be shared.
